Washington DC Interior Design on Display
I had the opportunity to showcase great Washington DC interior design for the 2008 Capitol Hill Restoration Society Annual House Tour.
However, this wasn't typical Washington DC interior design. This project used only items the homeowners already had rather than new purchases. While many Washington DC interior design firms would have rejected this project, it was perfect for Same Day Decor.
The owners had recently combined households and needed to organize their furnishings.
Priorities were making their shelves more orderly and displaying their art collection. The result is a harmonious but interesting blend of the homeowners' treasures.

Previously, the couch covered the window. The new arrangement provides better light and is more balanced. The oil paintings were grouped for maximum impact. The den is now functional and attractive.
