A DC Interior Design Challenge
I recently faced a DC interior design challenge - a very small space and a very small budget. A young professional needed help with her studio apartment in Dupont Circle. She wanted zones for sleeping, working, entertaining and eating. Together we worked on a design plan, e-mailed about specific furnishings to buy, and she bought and arranged the items. So here's the stylish solution to this DC interior design dilemma:
BEFORE: More dorm than downtown.
AFTER: Now a great place to hang out alone or with friends.
BEFORE: Not conducive to working, relaxing, or entertaining.
AFTER: Functional work and dining areas. The TV can be viewed from the couch or the bed.
